On Friday, June 11, 2021 Illinois Moved to a Full Reopening, also known as Phase 5, the final phase of the Restore Illinois plan.

The state has eliminated all capacity limits on businesses, large-scale events, conventions, amusement parks, and all other venues.

Mask requirements for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals continue to align with CDC guidelines.

    The goal of Food Sanitation Program is the reduction of food-borne illness through education to food service operators and consumers regarding safe food handling practices. All food service establishments are classified into risk categories based upon the type of menu served, the type of population served, the amount of food handling and/or the procedures of food handling being performed.

    Food Recalls and Public Health Alerts

    Food Safety and Inspection Service monitors recalls of meat and poultry products produced by Federally inspected establishments. For information about those recalls that are still in progress as well as any public health alerts issued by FSIS. Read more

    The Environmental Health Division of the LaSalle County Health Department protects public health through the Food Sanitation Program.
